How CareerCasual Reviews Products
What this site does
CareerCasual is an editorial operation built on a decade of watching workwear trends and brand positioning shift. I've spent years reading spec sheets, comparing cuts across price tiers, and learning what holds up — from a $60 button-down to a $300 pair of chinos. I don't own every piece I write about, but I do the homework so you don't have to: reading reviews, studying materials, and weighing where quality and value actually align. This site is about making the gap between price points intelligible, not about product testing.
How we evaluate
- Material quality: fabric weight, weaves, and fiber composition
- Construction details: stitching, buttons, seams, and finishing
- Fit consistency across sizes and within a brand’s range
- Price-to-value: what you gain (or lose) at each tier
- Versatility: can it do double duty in the office and after
Affiliate disclosure
Some links on CareerCasual are affiliate links, meaning I may earn a small commission if you make a purchase through them — at no extra cost to you. I only recommend what I believe offers real value, and the commission never influences the editorial direction.
